Limited Warranty

Limited Warranty Stott Craft, Inc., 21295 N.W. 59th Av.,McIntosh, Florida, warrants to the original purchaser that each boat will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year (12 months) from date of delivery to the original purchaser. Stott Craft, Inc. also warrants to the original purchaser a 5 years (60 months) Hull, Stringers and structural components against fiberglass failure from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

For Warranty validation purpose, the Record of First Purchaser must be completed and returned to the Stott Craft Office within 30 days after the original purchase for warranty registration.

Within this period warranty repairs to be made by Stott Craft without charge at its plant in McIntosh, Florida. Transportation cost is the responsibility of the owner, and all repairs must be approved by Stott Craft. The liability of the company shall be limited to repairing or replacing any part judged to be defective by Stott Craft, whose decision shall be final.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to (1) engines, outdrives, controls ,props, batteries or other equipment or accessories carrying their own individual warranties,(appropriate adjustments to them being provided by their manufacturer);(2) installation of engines or accessories installed by others;(3) windshield breakage or gel coat finish, cracks or crazing; (4) all canvas, vinyl, upholstery, plastics, fabric and trim; (5) any Stott Craft boat which has been altered, subjected to misuse, negligence or accident, or used for racing purposes; (6) any Stott Craft boat which has been overpowered according to our maximum recommended engine horsepower specification on the capacity plate provided by each Stott Craft boat model; (7) any Stott Craft boat used for commercial purposes.

Stott Craft specifically disclaims all implied warranties including but not Limited to fitness of the product for the purpose intended, fitness for a particular purpose, or of merchantability, except as the same might be affected by their limited warranty.

The Warranty herein stated is the only warranty made by Stott Craft, Inc. Stott Craft does not authorize any person or company to assume for Stott Craft any liability in connection with Stott Craft boats.

Stott Craft, Inc. reserves the right to change or improve the design of any boat without obligation to modify any boat previously manufactured.
